8 persons receive 2009 President’s Award in performing arts, cinema and paintingApril 12, 2010 - 12:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 10, 2010, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree on establishment of RA President’s Youth Award in performing arts, cinema and painting. Gurgen Baveyan (baritone) was awarded in the nomination for singing, Eduard Nersisyan (saxophone), Sona Barseghyan (piano), Petros Simidyan (piano) in the nomination for instrumental performance. Ovsanna Shekoyan was awarded for a series of paintings titled School, Vahagn Ghukasyan for a series of paintings titled Idea and Bagrat Balabekyan for creative search in fine arts and literature.
