KARS AGREEMENT MANIPULATED BY TURKS AND RUSSIANS

March 18, 2004 - 04:00 AMT  08:15 GMT
The anniversary of the Moscow agreement that stipulated illegal annexation of a significant part of the territories of Western Armenia by Turkey was marked on March 16 in Armenia. Several months later clauses of the agreement were repeated in the famous Kars agreement. These documents were very unpleasant for Georgia as they led to establishment of an artificial state structure within the Georgian SSR called Adzharian autonomy. Not only Yerevan but also Tbilisi suffer the consequences of the Soviet-Turkish conspiracy. The necessity to fight against manipulations of the shameful agreements obliges Armenia and Georgia to become allies.
