Armenian Delegation, led by RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan is on a working visit to USA to participate in ArmTech 2009 business forum. According to the RA government press office, on November 5, Prime minister visited Stanford University, the Linear Accelerator Center SLAC, met with representatives of the Union of Armenian students of Stanford University.

Internal political life of Armenia in the past week began with a bit livened up discussions between a number of Armenian opposition parties and representatives of the coalition government. The theme for the dispute was two bills, submitted earlier by the political parties "Heritage" and ARF Dashnaktsutyun to Armenian MPs for examination. Representatives of the parties stated that they seek the inclusion in the agenda of the National Assembly of Armenia, the issue of recognizing the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic independence and punishment for denying the Armenian Genocide.

The whole week passed against the backdrop of a rapid deterioration of Turkish-Israeli relations, and therefore all the "trivia" like Georgia's readiness to open the check-point "Upper Lars" and the test of Iran's two-stage thermonuclear devices attracted no special attention. By the way, all these three events are interrelated and, as it has always appeared recently, everything in the region lands on Turkey.
