Star supermarkets network supports transition to floating rate

PanARMENIAN.Net - Star Supermarket Chain Management supports the floating exchange policy.

According to Star Financial Director Gurgen Narimanyan, the recent governmental policy resulted in a number of problems, so we need some time to overcome the consequences. ''I'm confident that it was a necessary and timely step for Armenia. The economy sector will benefit from it in the medium term perspective.''

''Here we have a favorable conjuncture for direct investments,'' Star Financial Director noted.

''Still, the government should be consistent in tax reduction, provision of equal rights in selective market and financial sector support.''
