IT sphere gaining importance in crisis circumstances

PanARMENIAN.Net - IT sphere is gaining importance in crisis circumstances, IT Enterprise Union Council Director Karen Vardanyan told a news conference on Wednesday. At the same time, he noted that crisis has influenced IT sphere, yet did not significantly harm it.



On the positive side, the crisis boosted start up companies' number growth. "Number of start up companies increased thrice in 2008, compared with previous two years' results," IT expert noted, adding that the crisis drove young people to venture on starting their own businesses and becoming more self reliant.
