PanARMENIAN.Net -
As of January 1, 2010 Armenia’s national debt comprises 38% of GDP, including government foreign debt (28% of GDP), Armenian Minister of Finance Tigran Davtyan stated.

As he noted, Armenia’s national debt will reach 45% of GDP in current year, which is accounted for by foreign credits, attracted to mitigate economic crisis consequences. “Risk zone for government debt is assessed at 60% of GDP in accordance with international standards as well as Armenian legislation. This means, currently we’re outside of risk zone; Armenia’s national debt is under control,” Tigran Davtyan said.
