Deposits in Armenia’s banks totaled AMD 639.8bln as of end of May 2010

PanARMENIAN.Net - The total amount of deposits in Armenia’s banks made AMD 639.8bln as of the end of May 2010, which is 4.3% or AMD 22bln lower as compared with April.

Deposits at the amount of AMD 525.6bln were received from the country’s residents, while AMD 114.2bln – from non-residents, according to the monthly bulletin of the Central Bank of Armenia.

Besides, AMD deposits totaled 25.8%, while foreign currency deposits amounted to 74.2%.
