According to data of the RA National Statistical Service, 17.9% drop was recorded in the country’s agriculture in January-September 2010. Petrosyan noted that villagers faced numerous problems in retaining harvest in summer and they did not know who can assist them. “Our consultative services do not work efficiently. Moreover, they lack relevant specialists in agriculture to assist villagers,” he concluded.
