VTB Bank (Armenia) finalizes credit deals centralization execution![]() December 1, 2010 - 12:41 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On December 1, 2010, VTB Bank (Armenia) CJSC opened a centralized loan back-office at 48/41 Tigran Mets Ave., Yerevan, for clients of retail segment at the following address. According to the bank press service, it means that all loan agreements, except for loans granted against security of gold items, will be prepared in this branch, while the bank clients in Yerevan will have the opportunity to sign and notarize loan agreements at the aforementioned address. The bank launched the process of centralization of all loan back-office functions in its headquarters in 2010, thus, while the branch network will basically have functions of bank products sale. The opening of the centralized back-office for retail credit products is a logic completion of the centralization process, said Chief Risk Officer at VTB Bank (Armenia) Aliona Stratan. “We consider the centralization to be an important tool for increasing the efficiency of lending process, services quality and operational risks control,” concluded Aliona Stratan. ![]() ![]() Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”.
