IFC to invest $70 mln in Armenia’s economy![]() ![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - The International Finance Corporation IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, plans to invest a minimum of $70 million in Armenia’s economy in 2012, with the same amount allocated last year. According to IFC Armenia investments adviser Arman Barkhudaryan, since Armenia’s IFC affiliation in 1995, the Corporation implemented 28 investment programs to the total of $147 million. ![]() ![]() Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has “strongly condemned” Armenia’s decision.
