 17 06.10.11 - French president Nicolas Sarkozy at Armenian Genocide Memorial                      Sarkozy to attend Armenian Genocide commemoration event   April 23, 2012 - 15:27 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - French President Nicolas Sarkozy, will join the Armenian community on Tuesday, April 24, to commemorate the 97th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Paris. He is expected to give a speech at 7:00 pm at the monument to Komitas, at Yerevan Garden in Paris. He will also lay a wreath to the monument, French-Armenian journalist Jean Eckian said. This is the first time that a French President will personally attend Genocide commemoration event.
