OVER 60 US CONGRESSMEN CALLED TO PUT TO VOTE RESOLUTION MENTIONING ARMENIAN GENOCIDE IN OTTOMAN TURKEY

PanARMENIAN.Net - Over 60 members of the US House of Representatives appealed to Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert to put to the vote the Resolution on Genocide, which mentions the Armenian Genocide of 1915 in Ottoman Turkey as well. According to a report of the Armenian National Committee of America, the letter drawn up by Congressman George Radanovich says in part: "As new signs of possible genocides come out nowadays, we should be sure that studying the lessons of the past we will prevent new crimes against humanity".
