Brussels to host next Euronest PA session in 2013

PanARMENIAN.Net - The plenary session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly in Baku decided on the dates and schedule of next session. The third PA session is due to take place on May 28-29, 2013 in Brussels, with meetings of the standing committees organized prior to the session.

Azerbaijani MP Fuad Muradov briefed the participants on issues submitted for discussion in the Energy Committee. He said a conference on energy security is expected to be held in 2012, and the expert commission will meet in Brussels in September.

The Ukrainian delegation suggested that debates on energy be organized saying this would provide opportunities to propose new ideas, Trend reports.

Members of Euronest PA social affairs committee proposed organizing a forum in fall bringing together the youth from Euronest member-states.

The second session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly was held in Baku April 2-4.

Euronest inter-parliamentary union includes Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
