PACE EXPERTS TO OBSERVE ARMENIAN PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONApril 2, 2003 - 19:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will observe parliamentary election in Armenia planned May 25. As PACE Armenian delegation head Hovhannes Hovhannisian told Public TV Company of Armenia, the decision is made in Strasbourg upon the completion of the discussion of the PACE observation mission report on the presidential election in Armenia. PACE experts will arrive in Armenia in late April to examine the pre-election period, and some 30 assembly delegates will arrive on the eve of the election - May 23 - to observe the electoral process itself. In June on the basis of the findings of the monitoring PACE will assess the national election in Armenia.
