STEPAN DEMIRCHIAN: DISPERSAL OF RALLY IN YEREVAN "CRIME AGAINST ARMENIAN PEOPLE"

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today leader of Justice bloc of opposition forces Stepan Demirchian said the dispersal of the opposition night meeting was "an unprecedented crime against the Armenian people." In his words, "not only the author of the order to disperse the peaceful demonstration, but also its immediate executors are criminals." The Justice bloc leader called "absolutely false" the statement of the Armenian Police that the demonstrators behaved aggressively. S. Demirchian said the police special-purpose forces, who attacked the demonstrators, had hidden in the National Assembly building, which makes the ruling coalition and personally Parliament Speaker Artur Baghdasarian partially responsible for the commitment.
