“Hysteria” period comedy trailer hits the web

PanARMENIAN.Net - Sony Pictures Classics posted a new trailer for Hysteria, a period comedy directed by Tanya Wexler about the discovery/creation of the vibrator in the name of medical science. The film's title refers to the once-common medical diagnosis of female hysteria.

It stars Maggie Gyllenhaal, Felicity Jones, Jonathan Pryce and Rupert Everett. It’s currently slated to open May 18, Deadline reported.

The film is in English, and runs for 138 minutes, although the version that will premiere in Venice is dubbed over in German.
