Police publishes total list of Armenian voters![]() April 16, 2012 - 14:49 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The police of the Republic of Armenia published the total number of voters included in the voter register of Armenia, specifying the number of those involved in each additional list. According to the list, Armenian register comprises a total of 2.482.593 voters. Of these, 684 people are registered in other communities, temporarily withdrawn from their community’s voting list and included in the additional voting list; 46 voters are not registered in Armenia and join the list of the nearest polling station on the voting day, and 11 are those expected to work at the polling stations on the voting day, to be included in the additional list of police officers voting at the polling stations. According to the published list, there are no voters among those expected to vote in medical institutions. Parliamentary elections are due in Armenia on May 6 featuring 8 political parties (Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Prosperous Armenia, ARF Dashnaktsutyun (ARFD), Orinats Yerkir, Heritage, Democratic Party of Armenia (DPA), Communist Party of Armenia and United Armenian party, as well as one election bloc represented by opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC).
