Heritage, Free Democrats to seek end of coalition’s power

PanARMENIAN.Net - Vice-chairman of Heritage party Ruben Hakobyan met with journalists on April 16.

“The coalition, with its three members, has driven the country to the current situation, each contributing in their political category,” he said adding that “By saying a change of power, the Heritage and Free Democrats mean that the current political coalition must not rule any more, and we will fight to achieve this goal.”

Hakobyan further declared that the ruling Republican Party of Armenia and Prosperous Armenia are engaged in unlawful activities. He referred to his native community of Gavar, where, according to Hakobyan, the authorities collect people’s passports promising future electoral bribes to them.

“The passport is a state property and taking it away from citizens contradicts the legislation,” Heritage representative said.
