Armenia, Belarus agree to strengthen economic cooperation![]() April 16, 2012 - 18:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Today, April 16, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan met with Foreign Minster of Belarus Sergei Martynov, who is currently on official visit to Armenia. The two men agreed on both countries’ aspiration to strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly in the field of economy. They named development of engineering industry, agriculture, high-tech, science and education, as well as exchange of experience in the field of nuclear energy prospective. Stressing that both Armenia and Belarus are active members of the CSTO, RA President and Belarusian FM also underscored the importance of cooperation in the framework of international institutions. Partner news Members of all parliamentary groups, PM, Energy Minister and the chair of the Public Services Regulatory Commission were invited to participate. Vahan Hovhannisyan voiced hope that the ruling authorities acknowledge the difficulties Armenia currently faces. Prior to the vote, RPA parliamentary group leader Galust Sahakyan announced the party’s decision to vote against the bill.
