AZERBAIJAN'S MISINFORMATION OF "KARABAKH DRUG TRAFFIC" BEING REFUTED

PanARMENIAN.Net - Deputy to Nagorno Karabakh foreign minister Masis Mailian expressed satisfaction with the fact that in contrast to the recent years, the US State Department in its report for year 2003 does not mention of the information spread by the Azeri side regarding production and traffic of drugs in Nagorno Karabakh as well as at the territories under its control. As M. Mailian reminded to Mediamax agency, NKR authorities have many times addressed the international organizations including the OSCE, PACE and the US State Department with a request to send an independent monitoring group to Karabakh to investigate of the situation at the scene and make impartial conclusions. Meanwhile, in his words, Azerbaijan impedes this process continuing to misinform the international community. "We are convinced that the activities of the independent experts will allow to put a stop to Azerbaijan's far-fetched accusations and will keep the international community from being misinformed", NKR foreign minister deputy said.
