3 Armenian boxers to compete in Trabzon tournament April 17![]() April 17, 2012 - 12:58 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Olympic qualification tournament is underway in Trabzon, Turkey, with three Armenian participants facing their rivals on April 17. Koryun Soghomonyan (49 kg) and Hovhannes Danielyan (52 kg) will hold their first fights in the tournament. Soghomonyan will rival Italy's Manuel Cappai, while Danielyan will clash with Turkish Selcuk Eker in 1/8 final. Vladimir Sarukhanyan who already defeated Serbia's Branimir Stankovic in the first bout, will now face off against Alexandros Tsanikidis (Greece). Andranik Hakobyan (75 kg) is the only one to have qualified for Summer Olympics so far.
