Heritage to gain majority of votes by proportional lists – party rep.

PanARMENIAN.Net - Heritage representative expressed confidence the party will gain majority of votes by proportional lists during the upcoming parliamentary race.

As Armen Martirosyan told April 17 news conference, recent meetings with voters prove that Heritage enjoys positive attitude among population, thus significantly raising the party’s expectations.

The politician gave positive assessment to the electoral race as a whole, however, noting some instances of illegal use of administrative resources and bribery on the downside.

In conclusion, Martirosyan expressed hope that no fights or assaults will occur at the oncoming elections as opposed to previous ones.

Parliamentary elections, due in Armenia on May 6, feature 8 political parties, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Prosperous Armenia, ARF Dashnaktsutyun (ARFD), Orinats Yerkir, Heritage, Democratic Party of Armenia (DPA), Communist Party of Armenia and United Armenian party, as well as one election bloc represented by opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC).
