Orinats Yerkir offers electoral bribes under assistance cover, paper says

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerkir paper found out that Orinats Yerkir party offers electoral bribes to citizens contacting them mostly over the phone.

Party's district office staff calls people saying namely: “You are expected to get assistance, please come collect it,” a resident of Yerevan’s Malatia-Sebastia district told Yerkir.

The woman once contacted Orinats Yerkir several years ago, and has since maintained ties only via phone.

“On holidays, a girl calls us informing about the regular “assistance”, she said adding that this is the way the party notified about coffee, lemonade and vodka at Christmas, and jam and a scarf on April 7, Motherhood and Beauty Day.

“Now I’m eager to see what they will give us for the elections,” the woman confessed hoping the party will appear more generous this time.
