President Sargsyan: nuclear energy vital to Armenia![]() April 19, 2012 - 19:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan met with Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukiya Amano. Welcoming the guest, President Sargsyan stressed importance of nuclear energy for Armenia and cooperation with IAEA. Mr. Amano, in turn, noted that Armenia and IAEA have a common goal i.e. implementation of successive events to ensure safety of Armenian Nuclear Power Plant and close cooperation on construction of a new power plant. Partner news Finance Minister David Sargsyan met with the regional director of KfW German Development Bank Lars Oermann. The government has said it expects its debt burden to rise to 90.5% of GDP at the end of 2013 but it may have to revise the forecast. According to the agreement, 300 000 euro will be allocated to preparation of a feasibility report for Ararat valley flooding system. Flights will depart from Sharjah International Airport on Tuesdays and Fridays, Air Arabia said in a statement. Partner news |
