  President Sargsyan: nuclear energy vital to Armenia April 19, 2012 - 19:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan met with Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukiya Amano. Welcoming the guest, President Sargsyan stressed importance of nuclear energy for Armenia and cooperation with IAEA. Mr. Amano, in turn, noted that Armenia and IAEA have a common goal i.e. implementation of successive events to ensure safety of Armenian Nuclear Power Plant and close cooperation on construction of a new power plant.
