European qualifying wrestling tournament kicks off in Bulgaria

PanARMENIAN.Net - European qualifying wrestling tournament for the Summer Olympic Games kicks off in Bulgaria on April 20.

In 1/4 final Narek Sanoyan (60kg) will face off against the winner of Valentin Popescu (Romania) - Selahattin Kılıçsallayan (Turkey) pair. In 1/8 final David Safaryan (66 kg) will rival Swiss Steven Graf. In 1/4 final Suren Markosyan (74kg) will clash the winner of Adam Saitiev (Russia) - Oleg Bilotserkivski (Ukraine) fight.

Mihran Jaburyan (55 kg) is the only Armenian wrestler to have qualified for London Olympics so far. Other two qualifying tournaments will be held in China and Finland.
