Orinats Yerkir’s ex-speaker quits election campaign - paper![]() April 27, 2012 - 11:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Susanna Abrahamyan, ex-speaker of Orinats Yerkir party nominated by proportional system for the upcoming parliamentary elections quits the campaign. Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission accepted Abrahamyan’s dismissal application on April 26. According to Zhoghovurd paper, she decided to quit the party as well. Several candidates proposed by Orinats Yerkir proportional list are quitting it due to serious disagreements within the party, Zhoghovurd says. Orinats Yerkir is the only party to see so many members leave the election campaign, Zhoghovurd reports. Partner news Prior to the vote, RPA parliamentary group leader Galust Sahakyan announced the party’s decision to vote against the bill.
