PanARMENIAN.Net - Judd Apatow is bringing his brand of raunchy-sweet comedy to the big screen again in "This is 40," The Wrap reported.

As the title suggests, Apatow's latest directorial outing - his first since "Funny People" in 2009 - finds a familiar cast of characters cracking wise about their midlife crises. Apatow's real-life wife, Leslie Mann, reprises her role as Debbie from "Knocked Up," with Paul Rudd picking up where Pete left off in this sequel (of sorts) to Apatow's 2007 hit.

Jason Segel, Melissa McCarthy, Megan Fox and Lena Dunham round out the cast.

Judging by the trailer, there's not a whole lot of territory Apatow's not willing to cover when it comes to getting older in all its saggy, funny glory.

"This is 40" debuts in U.S. theaters on Dec. 21, 2012.
