ARMENIA AND SWEDEN TO SIGN ECONOMIC AGREEMENT

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia and Sweden plan to sign an agreement "On encouragement and mutual protection of investments" and "On avoiding double taxation" fall 2003. Swedish ambassador to Armenia (residence in Moscow) Sven Girdman said in the course of a meeting with Armenian minister of finance and economy Vartan Khachatrian in Yerevan. As the press service of the ministry of finance and economy of Armenia told "Arka" agency, S. Girdman noted the importance of signing these agreements for the development of bilateral economic ties. In V. Khachatrian's words, Armenia takes measures to form favorable conditions to attract foreign investment.
