ARMENIA INTENDS TO INCREASE DEFENSE SPENDINGJune 1, 2004 - 22:55 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - In 2005 Armenia intends to increase the defense spending, Armenian Defense Minister, Secretary of the Security Council of the country Serge Sargsian told journalists today upon the completion of the parliamentary hearings on fulfillment of the 2003 budget. In his words, as compared with the current year a large sum will be disposed in the 2005 state budget for defense spending. At that the Minister did not mention concrete numbers.
