COUNCIL FOR STRUGGLE AGAINST CORRUPTION FORMED IN ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Robert Kocharian signed the decree on formation of the Council for Struggle against Corruption. Parliament and government members, Prosecutor General, Central Bank chairman, representatives of controlling services of the President and the National Assembly will serve on the Council to be presided by Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Margarian. As reported by the RA President's press service, the Council will coordinate the works on the realization of programs of Armenia's anti-corruption strategy and conduct their monitoring, will watch how the measures connected with the international commitments undertaken by the country are carried out as well as will secure the cooperation with the regional and international organizations for struggle against corruption.
