According to Hraparak daily, Prosperous Armenia party “purged” its list of parliament members to submit it to Central Election Commission on May 23.
“For three days, party leader Gagik Tsarukyan have been meeting those included in the list, as well as those who dropped out. Hamayak Hovhannisyan, who dropped out, had to face a severe scolding during the meeting with Tsarukyan. Rumors go that Hovhannisyan had refused to renounce his seat, yet was forced to do it after a “talk” with Tsarukyan.
Vahe Hovhannisyan was also induced to renounce his deputy mandate. Gurgen Arsenyan and Vartan Oskanian haven’t renounced their seats.
Tamara Poghosyan, in all probability, won’t receive a seat; Elinar Vardanyan, Vahe Babayan, Tigran Urikhayan, Aragats Akoyan will be among those to get deputy mandates,” the paper said.
