NAGORNO KARABAKH SETTLEMENT IN HANDS OF CONFLICTING PARTIES, RUSSIAN MEDIATOR CONSIDERS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Variants of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement are very few in number and they all have been already discussed with the parties to conflict, OSCE Minsk Group Russian co-chair Yuri Merzlyakov told journalists in Stepanakert on completion of the meeting with Nagorno Karabakh President Arkadi Ghukasian. According to him it would be incorrect to expect the mediators to make any proposal without mutual consent of the conflicting parties. "The Minsk Group is carrying out the necessary works for arranging negotiations while the conflicting parties themselves should resolve the problem. We cannot impose any kind of solution", the Russian mediator said.
