IRANIAN PRESIDENT TO PAY TWO-DAY OFFICIAL VISIT TO ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - September 8 on the invitation of Armenian President Robert Kocharian, head of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) Mohammad Khatami will arrive in Yerevan on a two-day official visit. As reported by the Press Service of the Armenian leader, the delegation headed by President Khatami includes the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Finance and Economy, Trade and other officials. The same day the Presidents will have a meeting in private, then extended composition talks will be held. It should be noted that bilateral documents are planned to be signed within the framework of the visit. The delegation headed by M. Khatami will visit the monument to the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey and will lay wreaths to the memorial. The IRI President will also address the sitting of the National Assembly of Armenia, will meet with Prime Minister Andranik Margarian, Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II and will visit Yerevan State University.
