Famous Beatle Sir Paul McCartney celebrates 70th birthday

PanARMENIAN.Net - Sir Paul McCartney turns 70 today, June 18 - two weeks after proving at the Diamond Jubilee concert he has very much still got it.

The Beatles star closed the show in front of Buckingham Palace in celebrations to mark the Queen's 60 years on the throne.

Now it is Macca's turn to celebrate a special occasion, as he marks completing seven decades since his birth on 18 June 1942 in Liverpool.

As twenty somethings he and his Beatles colleagues sang "Will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I'm 64."

That birthday has been and gone - not that Macca shows any signs of slowing up. As well as continuing to tour, he has found love again and married Nancy Shevell last year, mirror.co.uk reported.

Yerevan's Hovhannes Tumanyan State Puppet Theater will also host a concert to celebrate the music legend’s birthday anniversary.
