The national committee on Armenian –Turkish relations has ceased activities, according to Turkish Vatan daily.
The committee, established in 2003, aimed to research on Armenian-Turkish ties, Armenian culture, history, political life, as well as development of relations between the two countries in thefild of education.
The committee comprised five members from state and private institutions, seven experts researching on Armenia and the Caucasus, as well as two representatives from of Turkish Council of Higher Education.
