ARMENIAN DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER AND SWISS-FINNISH DELEGATION DISCUSSED ESTABLISHMENT OF COOPERATIONSeptember 29, 2004 - 22:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Ruben Shugarian received the delegation, guided by Bernard Jeanty, Head of Global Arms Control and Disarmament Section of Federal Department of Defense of Switzerland and Director of the Department for Arms Control of the Armed Forces of Finland Alexander Aminoff. As reported by the Press Service of the foreign policy department of Armenia, the aim of the delegation arrival in Yerevan is establishment of cooperation within the framework of the OSCE Document on Small Arms and Light Weapons, specifically, studying the opportunity of realization of joint programs in Armenia. In the course of the meeting R. Shugarian acquainted the guests with the course of fulfillment of commitments assumed by Armenia in small arms and light weapons, as well as measures the country has taken to that end. In the course of the conversation questions of further cooperation and prospects of realization of joint programs were also discussed.
