Armenian TV idealizes people behaving as murderers, expert says

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian television presents people like those who killed military doctor Vahe Avetyan as heroes, a sociologist said.

“The TV series are filled with criminal characters, who serve as example for the young generation,” Vahram Mirakyan said, adding that the television also creates a negative image of the army.

TV series also provoked increase in the number of crimes committed in Armenia, according to the expert.
