Oskanian refused gift of car when Minister – paper

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Hayatsk daily, while serving as Armenian Ambassador to Iran, Gegham Gharibjanyan tried to give a costly present of a car to his then “boss” Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian.

As the paper said, the envoy collected money for a Mercedes from Iran’s Armenian entrepreneurs.

Oskanian, however, refused the luxury birthday gift, with the Mercedes sent to Foreign Ministry car fleet.
