Armenia-EU visa facilitation agreement to be ratified - deputy FM

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia and EU finalized visa regime facilitation talks, deputy foreign minister said.

As Zohrab Mnatsakanian noted at National Security Council’s Armenia-EU interdepartmental commission sitting, “with negotiations finalized, the agreement will be submitted to EU member states to be ratified.”

“Visa regime facilitation is a part of a major stage, with work in progress to achieve visa liberalization,” the official said.

The event was aimed at identifying how the Standing Committee on European Integration could improve its functioning.
“The EU-Armenian consultations are underway to find ways for implementation of the agreements reached at the Vilnius summit,” Traian Hristea said.
