Electoral procedures in NKR professional, Polish observers say

PanARMENIAN.Net - The director of European Center of Geopolitical Analysis, Polish observer Mateusz Piskorski hailed electoral procedures in Nagorno Karabakh Republic as very professional.

“Except for minor discrepancies, which in any case won’t be affecting the results of the vote, there’re no reasons for complaint,” Piskorski told PanARMENIAN.Net

“The atmosphere at polls is very friendly, with presidential candidates’ trustees and observers monitoring the course of elections,” Piskorski said.

“The observer mission has arrived in Nagorno Karabakh to make the international community aware of NKR as a democratic state, similarly to any European country,” he stressed.

90 observers from 22 states are monitoring presidential polls in Artsakh.

The three candidates running for presidency are: current leader Bako Sahakyan; NKR MP, ex-deputy defense minister Vitaly Balasanyan; Armenian State Agrarian University’s Stepanakert Subsidiary pro-rector Arkady Soghomonyan.
