UK Foreign Secretary hopes London Olympics will become greatest event

PanARMENIAN.Net - British Foreign Secretary William Hague issued a statement addressed to participants, visitors and audiences from around the world to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, according to the official website of British Embassy Yerevan.

In a video message, Foreign Secretary William Hague has offered a warm welcome to everyone attending or watching the Games.

Foreign Secretary William Hague said:

"I want to say a great warm welcome to everybody who is coming to the Olympic Games. We have organised here in the United Kingdom what we hope will be one of the greatest Games ever... We're looking forward to everyone being able to cheer on their competitors, their favourite athletes from all over the world. Enjoy the Olympic Games."
