Sofia to host Armenian-Bulgarian intergovernmental commission meeting![]() July 20, 2012 - 20:10 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with the Bulgarian ambassador to Armenia Georgi Karastamatov. According to government’s press service, Prime Minister Sargsyan congratulated the envoy on his appointment, wishing him success in further activity. The two men attached great importance to the development of Armenian-Bulgarian trade and economic relations through activity of the intergovernmental commission, the next meeting of which will be held in Sofia. Ambassador Karastamatov, in turn, conveyed to Prime Minister Sargsyan his Bulgarian counterpart Boyko Borisov’s invitation to visit Bulgaria, noting that his country will host Armenian Culture Days this year. The issue was discussed by Gazprom chief Alexey Miller and Armenian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan.
