AZERI FOREIGN MINISTRY: ARMENIAN LEADERSHIP CONCERNED OVER INCLUSION OF ITEM "ON SEIZED AZERI TERRITORIES" ON UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY AGENDA

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian leadership is concerned over the inclusion of the item "on the seized territories of Azerbaijan" in the agenda of the 59-th session of the UN General Assembly, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Press Secretary Metin Mirza said when commenting on Armenian FM Vardan Oskanian's statement on Yerevan's readiness to resume the Prague talks. As M. Mirza stated, "When saying that Azerbaijan cannot hope for the Prague talks to be held parallel with UN discussions V. Oskanian meant to torpedo the negotiation process". In his words, "the Armenian party is addressing such a non-constructive method whenever favorable conditions for the progress in the negotiation process are created".
