Yerevan circus dome detonated

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan circus dome was earlier detonated for dismantling purposes. The dome is currently in disrepair.

As employees of Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations noted, the dismantling works posed a great danger. Circus repair works were launched on August 1, 2011. According to the agreement signed with Yerevan Municipality, the works are carried out by Tashir group of companies, with the investment fund totaling USD 6 mln.

The building has not been repaired since 1962. All the animals the circus owns are presently in Yerevan zoo.
