US CONGRESS APPROVED BILL ON ALLOCATING $8,75 MILLION AS MILITARY AID TO ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to the bill approved by the US Congress $3 million will be allocated to Nagorno Karabakh as humanitarian aid. Besides, Armenia is to receive no less that $75 million, a sum, which is $13 million more than the figure fixed by the Bush Administration. The latter also planned to call for Azerbaijan a military aid $6 million exceeding the one for Armenia in 2005. However the Congress provided for parity in assistance to both states. To remind, Armenia is one of the countries to receive the most significant US financial assistance.
