“Baraka”doc follow-up “Samsara” hot trailer hit the web

PanARMENIAN.Net - A hot trailer for Oscilloscope Laboratories’ Samsara documentary was released, Deadline said.

Filmed over a period of more than four years in twenty-five countries on five continents, Mark Magidson and Ron Fricke-directed Samsara uses 65mm cinematography to document sacred grounds, disaster zones, industrial complexes and natural wonders as it explores the mundane and miraculous wonders of the world.

Magidson and Fricke have also made the films Baraka and Chronos.

The first film, “I Left My Shoes in Istanbul,” closely follows the journey of a Lebanese-Armenian modernist poet.
Over the past two years, “Orphans of the Genocide” has been broadcast on PBS stations nationwide, reaching over 12 million viewers.
The other exhibition, Arshile Gorky and the Collection is at the Foundation’s Modern Art Centre, and runs until May 31, 2015.
Fittingly, Narek Hakhnazaryan performs Tchaikovsky’s Variations on a Rococo Theme in this debut tour with the NZSO.
