Paper: Gyumri Mayor instructs his employees to open Facebook accounts

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Zhoghovurd paper, Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan has instructed municipality employees to participate in Facebook voting.

However, Mr. Ghukasyan’s spokesperson Lilit Aghekyan denied the information, dubbing it rumors.

Though Prosperous Armenia member Samvel Balasanyan was leader in the weekend vote, the current mayor was trying to boost personal image through social networks.

Moreover, the paper’s sources say even Mr. Ghukasyan’s security officers are opening true and fake Facebook accounts.
