Liturgy to be served at Aghtamar Island’s Holy Cross church Sept. 9

PanARMENIAN.Net - A liturgy has been allowed to be served at Aghtamar Island’s Holy Cross Armenian church on September 9, Turkish Anadolu Agency reports.

Van province administration is getting ready to welcome Armenian tourists.

10th century Holy Cross church currently operates as a museum, with liturgies allowed to be served there once a year.

The monument’s designer is Mihran Hakobjan, a 30-year-old Armenian-born artist who graduated from a Slubice college.
