Azeri soldier commits suicide

PanARMENIAN.Net - A soldier of Azerbaijani Defense Ministry’s “N” military unit in Nakhchivan committed suicide.

The serviceman Ismayil Rafig Ibayev (born in 1993) shot himself in the head from a duty weapon, Azerbaijan Press Agency (APA) reported, citing Defense Ministry.

Investigation is underway.

Another death was recorded in Azerbaijani Defense Ministry’s “N” military unit located in Goranboy region.

Soldier Mehdi Bahadir Sultanov “died as a result of fire opened from his service submachine gun”.

Serviceman of Azerbaijani armed forces Abbasov Orkhan Gahraman (born in 1992) died as a result of co-serviceman’s careless handling of weapon on July 30.

The fact was confirmed by Azeri Defense Ministry spokesman Major Teymur Abdullayev.
