Syrian Armenians: situation in Aleppo’s Armenian-populated regions ameliorates

PanARMENIAN.Net - The situation in Aleppo’s Armenian-populated regions keeps ameliorating, the founder of “Outreach to Syrian Armenians” Facebook page, writer/publicist said, citing an Aleppo-based Armenian.

“Shops are mainly open in Armenian-populated regions,” Anahit Adamyan said, adding that power problems are being fixed.

“With power supply resumed, mobile and Internet service problems have been recorded in the past 2 days,” she said, citing the Syrian Armenian.

According to Ms. Adamyan, our compatriot attributed the communication problems to government plan to retain army’s confidentiality.

She further noted information suggesting Aleppo airport has been blocked as informal.

“Aleppo-based Armenians say several air companies have halted flights to Syria,” she said.
